The fuser unit must be replaced after approx. 50,000 printed pages. The error codes listed below indicate that the Fuser Unit of your Brother HL-L2340DW Compact Laser Printer is faulty.

How to replace the Fuser Unit of Brother HL-L2340DW Compact Laser Printer

 

  1. Pull the fuser unit heater harness out of the securing fixtures.
  2. Disconnect the heater harness from the LVPS-heater harness.
  3. Disconnect the securing fixtures of the center and the side thermistor harness assemblies, and disconnect them from the eject sensor PCB assembly.
  4. Remove the two screws that secure the fuser unit into place.
  5. Pull the Fuser Unit out of the Brother HL-L2340DW Compact Laser Printer, and then install the new component by following the current procedure in reverse order.
